Creating a bond and enriching the lives of our seniors. Being a comforting and uplifting presence, sharing stories, and fostering an environment where clients feel cherished and listened to.
Senior companion care includes helping with errands, shopping, and transportation. Transportation can help maintain a level of independence without the need for our seniors to drive themselves.
We enjoy helping our seniors with things like emptying the trash, vacuuming and sweeping of main areas. We can also help with things such as watering the plants, dusting, and picking up newspapers and other clutter. Examples of things we do not do would be heavy-duty cleaning tasks that require moving heavy furniture.
The services we provide can vary from senior to senior, as they do not all have the same support needs. Let us sit down with you and your loved one to design a personalized at-home care plan.
"I don't live in the same city as my dad, so when he had a stroke last year and moved to assisted living, we both faced a lot of challenges. I truly don't know how we would've made it through without SarahCares. For the first time in many years, I don't have a constant pang of worry in my stomach because I know I have someone that I can depend on and who clearly cares about my dad, too."

" Sarah has been life-changing for my mother. I don't live close enough to attend to the day-to-day needs of my mother whose Alzheimer's is progressing quickly these days. Sarah is compassionate, communicative, and my mom loves her!"
Yuri L, son of client
"Have you ever had someone exceed your expectations so drastically that you simply can't stop talking about them? That is the experience we've had with SarahCares. With kindness and unbelievable patience, Sarah anticipates every need and then takes care of it. She delivers dignity, pride, and a sense of well-being to my mother in law. She gives peace of mind to the family and is simply invaluable to us all."
Sarah and her team care for my 91-year old mother who lives in independent living but needs assistance due to advanced macular degeneration. My mother was not sure she wanted or needed help, but now she looks forward to every visit. Sarah has a gift of building connection which is clearly grounded in her empathy. My mother's life has been greatly enriched by Sarah's presence. Mom says "Sarah is a gem, I just love her!" Sarah and her team always go above and beyond."
Maggie H, daughter of client
"I've gotten to know Sarah over the course of a year while working with her on a mutual client. I've witnessed first-hand how Sarah has created a professional, yet very caring relationship with this client; and it is clear to me how much my client not only relies on Sarah's expertise as a caregiver, but enjoys her companionship tremendously. I've found Sarah has a true servant's heart. I define someone with a 'servant's heart" as someone who puts the needs of others first, goes beyond what is expected, and anticipates others needs, not because they are paid to do so, but because that's the person they truly are."
